Guest Performance with PSYCHO - "Group Pressure"

Why does Seth always sing "Group Pressure" with PSYCHO?
Seth has been performing "Group Pressure" live since 1989 with his good friends from one of the best hardcore acts ever - PSYCHO.  Though highly-respected amongst fans, PSYCHO is seriously (and unfortunately) all too under appreciated...these guys work their fucking balls off, ALWAYS put on a TOTALLY kick ass show, and should no doubt be front runners in top-tier hardcore circles worldwide.

From the very beginning of Seth's career in 1988, when Anal Cunt had just begun to take form of Seth's vision, the PSYCHO guys (Johnny X, Ed Lynch, and Charlie Infection) have been loyal friends and supportive colleagues...and have treated Seth (as well as AxCx and all of his various projects) with the utmost respect and kindness - yet another testament to the true professionals and friends that they are.

The second show of Seth's short-lived promoting career was booking PSYCHO along with Cancerous Growth and Post Mortem on June 1st, 1986 at St. Jean's Church in Newton, MA. (Incidentally, and true to the bands' fun-loving spirit, no other shows were ever played at this venue; thanks to being evicted from the parking lot by soon-to-be infamous pedophile, Fr. Paul Shanley, coupled with complaints from the asshole neighbor down the road - where the bands had attempted to relocate their fun bus...)  Though this show was not exactly sold out, and was one of the last (perhaps even the very last) shows Seth would ever book for another band, it gave strength to a relationship that would continue on for many years to come.
Seth's earliest career accomplishments were bolstered by the faith and confidence the guys proved by allowing him to help PSYCHO produce their Riches and Fame 10".  This effort followed the release of the Fuck Off...Live 7" in 1989/90 - the 2nd release for Seth's new label, Wicked Sick Records.  Ultimately, the friends joined forces and the PSYCHO/Anal Cunt split 7" was released in 1991.

Since then and throughout all, friendships have remained strong as PSYCHO, AxCx, and Seth's various other bands followed separate paths continuing to tour, release several other recordings, and gather fans from all over the world.  What began as a group of locally well-established musicians giving some punk kid a few minutes of their stage time, eventually evolved into the tradition of Seth singing "Group Pressure," whenever he was/is in attendance (which is essentially whenever possible).

In addition to playing together several times recently (2007/8) with AxCx and FULL BLOWN A.I.D.S., PSYCHO graciously performed at Seth's wedding on May 17, 2008...second only to Seth's lifelong all-time favorite band, NEGATIVE APPROACH (sorry kids, we're keeping that footage for ourselves)!!!
